Contemporary waste, such as dust, hair, plastic objects, fabrics and papers, have been transformed by ceramic processes in order to give them a new value and rebuild our nomadic origin.
It is an investigation about materials processed by old/ traditional methods of cooking in order to be redesign and adapted in our days. The methods are kilns made by waste materials and clay. Three kilns are necessary to transform the waste materials to be adapted and used in our daily life.
The whole project is a reflection on the simplicity arising from ridding ourselves of technology and reconnecting with fire in a playful way. The aim is to experiment to find new materials while taking advantages of the energy produced to cook. We designed the materials that give us aliment and that are aliment.
